Massage FAQs

How much time should I schedule? We offer 50 minute massage sessions and book on the hour. This allows the therapist enough time to focus on up 3 areas (neck, shoulders, low back, hips, arms, legs or feet).  If you need more than 3-4 areas, then we suggest breaking treatment up into two one-hour massages.

Most of our patients schedule a massage in conjunction with their chiropractic adjustment and are able to be thoroughly relaxed and aligned within one hour. Massage time includes time for set-up and for you to get dressed.

How much does it cost? Our fee for non-medical massage is $90/ hour. Most insurance plans cover medical massage (manual therapy) under your physical therapy benefit when overseen by a doctor to improve a diagnosed condition (ie whiplash, sprains/ strains, bursitis, tendonitis, headaches, etc). Our fees for medical massage are negotiated by each insurance carrier with most rates ranging between $65 – 90 per session. We are happy to verify your insurance coverage for massage therapy once Dr Woodward examines and establishes your treatment plan.

WE ACCEPT MOST INSURANCE PLANS AND WILL ALSO REMOVE PAIN AND SYMPTOMS DUE TO AUTO ACCIDENTS.

What should I wear? Treatment usually requires skin contact.  We require draping on all massages but many patients will wear shorts/ gym clothes to their comfort level. We offer warm towels & non-staining, low-grease massage creams that soak into & moisturize the skin.

Programs & Gifts: We offer gift certificates for non-medical massages starting at $90. Packages of 4 sessions or more are available for a 10% discount. If your company is interested in employee appreciation events, health fairs, chair massage, or massage benefit programs we also have special pricing and packages available.
